Although originally self-taught, Shanelle's passion for makeup and fashion led her to land a job as a makeup artist with companies such as Christian Dior, NARS, L’Oreal, Lancôme, and Estee Lauder, where she continued to hone her craft. Shyn of Pacific Artistry has been my #1 go-to gal for hair and makeup at weddings. I'm a wedding photographer and when it comes to my brides, they care about two things: 1) quality and 2) affordability. With Shyn, you get both and the best part is, she exceeds expectations every time. I am blown away by her execution and her craft, which is worth so much more than just the pricetag. I don't say these things because it's a review, either. These are just the facts and I've told her again and again! She's just that fantastic! Professional, passionate and playful makeup artist for 6 years, Shyn was told she had a "natural talent" with a brush and a pallatte but laughed at it and had no interest in pursuing makeup. Dreams of working on big machines was where she wanted life to take her. But alas, two of her best friends had graduated from makeup school in Vancouver BC and she was introduced to more then just counter jobs, a whole new medium had been unveiled. Her love for films as a child, well not films, it was always the behind the scenes footage you'd RARELY find on a VHS drove her to attend the Blanche MacDonald makeup artistry diploma program. Here is where she became confident in her skills and began her long and driven road to where she is today. 6 months in school she was hired by Aveda to be an on floor makeup artist, and from there worked on her first TV show for Shaw Cable, 2 fashion shows and a moulage for the Vancouver fire department. Graduated she landed her first key position on the "Evading". From there, it was full steam ahead. .

Amanda began her journey into glam back in 1998 when she worked as an instructor at a top agency teaching new models makeup techniques for black and white and colored photos. From there she became a freelance makeup artist working with some of the top names in cosmetics. Amanda has had the opportunity to work all over the west coast; she also has worked and trained with nationally renowned makeup artist Darais featured on The CW's America's Next Top Model).Her experience includes artistry for weddings, photo shoots, fashion shows, commercial, music videos, and makeup parties.
Amanda finds working as a makeup artist to be most rewarding, because it truly is artistry on a living, breathing canvas.

Ashli-Danielle Thompson is a professional makeup artist from LA. Her passion for makeup surfaced at a young age. Ashli began freelancing during her first year of college in Los Angeles where she studied Film/TV production. With a keen instinct that she would one day work in the entertainment industry, she took her education to Hollywood, CA to the Joe Blasco Makeup Center West. There, she applied hands-on learning with natural talent while being trained by some of the industry's leading working professionals and award-winning makeup artists. Her skills range from basic beauty and hair styling to avant garde and special fx. Since her graduation and certification, she has had the opportunity to work with celebrities, reality television stars, international fashion models and top fashion designers like Christian Audigier and Kami Shade'. She fuels her passion for makeup by keeping up with new trends and products and continuing to learn new techniques in makeup application. For Ashli, a blank face is the most perfect and beautiful cavas that she could ever lay her brushes on. She draws inspiration from anywhere and everywhere and her creativity is never ending.

For Hannah, makeup artistry has always been about beauty, art and the feeling of creating a one of a kind masterpiece. Every face is different and every woman has her own idea of what makes her feel beautiful. Her love for makeup and helping others feel beautiful, led her to be a top makeup artist. Being self taught, she was hand picked to be an artist for top makeup lines: Clinique and Estee Lauder with companies such as Nordstrom and Macys. Hannah has done everything from designing entire photo shoots, to being a personal stylist. Her most recent project was a runway show for a local Portland wedding company, that included ten models, that she was able to finish in less than four hours. She also just rapped up an editorial photo shoot for ‘Gather events’ wedding magazine.
Hannah has the ability to glamorize a very diverse clientele of various ages and skin tones. She also has the ability to work with large groups within a very short amount of time. Being fast only encourages her creations to be photo ready and long lasting. Her past expertise includes bridal, photo shoots, runway, photo styling and design, prom, special occasion, senior portraits and more.
